The golf course at Cawdor Castle has been in use since 1976 and covers 25 acres of beautiful parkland. Its 1161 yards (par 32) offer a variety of challenges that will keep both seasoned players and beginners entertained.
Golf equipment is and green fees are available from the Coffee House which is located near the entrance to Cawdor Castle.
The course record is 27 but if you can’t beat this, consolation can be found in the licensed Courtyard Café at the castle or at the Coffee House next to the course.
The putting green also acts as an excellent training ground for players at all levels.
The golf course is open from May 1st until Sunday 7th October 2018.
- Out of bounds: A ball is out of bounds if it lies beyond any boundary fence or wall (Rule 27)
- Twigs and branches are moveable obstructions (Rule 24.1)
- All staked trees are protected and a free lift is allowed
Ducks and deer are protected species and have priority.
